Welcome to the Ambo University Library!
The Ambo University Library (AUL) is one of the most vital and dynamic academic components of our university. Established in 2009, the Library plays a central role in advancing the University’s core missions of teaching, research, and community service by providing expert access to knowledge and information resources.
AUL is dedicated to supporting the academic community by supplying reliable and up-to-date information for scientific research, innovation, and quality education. We continually strive to enhance our collections, facilities, and digital services to ensure that students, faculty, and researchers have access to the best possible learning and research environment.
Currently, the Library houses an extensive collection of over a million items, including approximately 30,000 volumes of books, journals, dissertations, theses, and other scholarly resources across various disciplines. In addition to our print collections, AUL is expanding its electronic resources to meet the growing demand for digital learning and research materials.
Our library buildings are designed to provide sufficient space for users and to accommodate the increasing student population, while integrating modern ICT infrastructure to facilitate digital access and collaborative learning. The Library continues to enrich its resources through both procurement and generous donations from partners and institutions.
As we move forward, Ambo University Library remains committed to excellence in information service delivery, resource development, and user engagement. We invite all members of our community to make full use of the Library’s diverse resources and services to achieve their academic and research goals.
