Dean Message

Dear all! It is my pleasure to warmly welcome you to Ambo University, College of Business and Economics. Distinguished principal, respected staff and teachers, and my dear fellow students, the college has been contributing its share in achieving university objective in particular and country’s development goals in general by producing qualified and competent graduates, conducting problem solving research, and rendering community service.

Currently the college is running different programs under 6 departments: Management, Economics, Marketing Management, Accounting and Finance, Cooperative and PADM with 95 academic staff and 26 administrative staff. The college enrolled above 1900 undergraduate students in regular, CEP, winter and summer programs in seven programs. In addition the college currently enrolled above 750 students in ten post graduates programs. To expand its service at large, the college has opened different satellite centers in CEP program.

In addition, the college work through research and communities service vice dean office in conducting research and rendering community service services for Ambo and the surrounding community particularly on business consultancy and advices, techniques to start and grow business, and how to solve the problem and challenges related to business.
