Dean Message

The College of Natural and Computational Sciences consists of six departments and three programs units offering bachelors, master’s, and PhD degrees. These are BSc degree in: Biology, Biology Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Chemistry Laboratory Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Physics Laboratory Technology, Sport Sciences and Statistics. In addition, the college runs more than 15 programs offering master’s degree in Chemistry (Analytical stream, Inorganic stream, Organic stream and Physical stream), Botanical Science,  Ecology and Conservation  Biology, Environmental Science, Microbiology and Microbial Biotechnology, fisheries and aquaculture, Mathematics (Algebra and other streams) physics (statistical, and condensed matter, physics education) and sport sciences (Sport Coaching and Exercise pysiology). The department of mathematics has also launched and running a PhD program in Fluid Dynamics.

All our programs are designed and being executed with the purpose that science plays an irreplaceable role in the development of any society and our faculties are well aware of it. To realizing this, our departments are well equipped with qualified staffs, computer labs and scientific instrumentation, so that students graduate from our programs are with state-of-the-art skills. We strongly believe that the programs within this College can prepare you for science related jobs in industries, research institutions and teaching professions. We are confident that the alumni of our college demonstrate these expectations.
