Welcome to the department of Mathematics
Department of Mathematics (DoM) was one of the establishing departments of the Faculty of Natural and computational Science when Ambo College was launched as University in 1998 E.C. Currently; it is running undergraduate programs in regular and summer as well as Extension. Moreover, the department has launched master’s degree program mainly in Numerical Analysis, Differential Equation, Applied Mathematics, Linear Algebra and Analysis for regular, Extension and summer at Main Campus in 2008 E.C. Also the department has launched PhD in Applied Mathematics in 2014 E.C Academic Year. Still it is one of the strong departments in College of Natural Sciences which was established in 1998E.C.
