About Agribusiness and Value Chain Management

The department was launched in 2012 by B.Sc. in Agribusiness and Value Chain Management for the first time in the country. The overall goal of the department is to produce proficient, highly competent and innovative agribusiness and value chain experts capable of leading the commercialization of the country’s agriculture. The faculty participates in national discourses of agricultural value chain and promotes careers in agribusiness through partnerships with other academic and research institutions and industry.

The department aims to be a leading a center of excellence in research and community service training, and become internationally recognized for the quality of education and research in the areas of agribusiness. Department has both BSc and MSc regular programs in Agribusiness and Value Chain Management, In addition to the regular programs the department run weekend going to launch distance, summer, and Evening.
