Well come to plant Science Department of Ambo University. The department works with special emphasis on education quality, research, technology

transfer and community services. It has regular, winter, summer and special programs. The department trains students, at first, second and third degree levels, capable of improving crop production and productivity and ensure sustainable use of natural resources in the country and thereby contributing to improvement of the livelihood of the nation. Thus, it produces graduates which can identify and analyze production problems and devise appropriate solutions, assist policy makers and development practitioners
