Educational Quality Assurance and Enhancement Directorate

Ambo University aspires to be one of the leading Applied Universities in the country and in the horn at large. The University is working hard to provide practice oriented teaching; carryout applied research and provide community services. The directorate of Quality Assurance and Enhancement is among the 5 directorates under the academic affairs vice president office and it provides support for Colleges/institutes/school in all campuses of the University, so that all actors discharge their duties and responsibilities proficiently. The directorate also appraises the quality of teaching-learning process, research undertakings and community services of the University. In addition, it also initiates and supports curriculum review, program and institutional self-assessment and accreditations as part of quality assurance and enhancement package. The office also coordinates induction, higher diploma program (HDP), other need based short-term trainings and supervises English language improvement program (ELIP) in the University.

The director welcomes any potential industry/company/stakeholder, who would like to collaborate with Ambo University of Applied Science on any pertinent project{s) of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on projects that enhance the quality of education and research in the University.
